Thanks to a fantastic scheme run by Bradford Council we are able to offer two paid placements to graduates living in Bradford. The routes into employment – graduates into employment programme had some great success in finding paid internships with Bradford businesses last year and have now secured further funding to help graduates find full time employment.
Here at Bradford City of Film we are looking for:
Big Screen technical Assistant 30 hrs per week
Working alongside the Director of Bradford UNESCO City of Film and the film team you will assist and support the programming and running of Big Screen Bradford, the large screen in City Park. The right candidate will be motivated and work well in a team but also individually, assisting with scheduling and inputting of film and media to play out on the Big Screen. You will also be required to update web and social media for Big Screen Bradford.
There will be an opportunity to learn about editorial policy and content management from media professionals.
Finance Intern 24 hrs per week
Working alongside the Director of Bradford UNESCO City of Film and the film team you will assist in the upkeep of financial records for the organisation. Basic book keeping, financial projections, researching different funding opportunities and other ways to help City of Film remain financially viable in the coming years.
This post will suite a trainee accountant and/or someone who is meticulous but also has creative flare and can seek out opportunities.
